Joanne Russell

Joanne grew up in an animal-loving family and always had many pets as a child including Sonny the miniature poodle and Jane, a Newfoundland mix. Leaving school at 16, Joanne followed her dream of working with animals as a horse-riding instructor and trainer. In 1996 Joanne moved to Wales and bought her first breeding bitch, a chocolate Labrador named Emma. For ten years she successfully bred Labradors and Arabian horses. Joanne moved to Essex in 2009 and in recent years began breeding Goldendoodles. She currently lives with 7 dogs, 10 cats, and 3 horses. When not actually physically doing something with her dogs (3 Goldendoodles, a cockapoo, a Newfypoo, a Standard Poodle, and a St Bernard) Joanne enjoys studying canine genetics.
